Instructions Fast Hook Release
The Large Fast Hook Release is suitable for hook size 6 tot 6/0
The Medium Fast Hook Release is suitable for hook size 6 and down

1. Keep the fish above water or a soft surface. Then hold the line and let go of the fish. Hook the FHR around the line under the hand. Don't touch the fish
2. Lower the FHR to just above the mouth of the fish.
3. Move the FHR parallel to the line
4. Move the V of the FHR along the line down to the bend of the hook. Squeeze the trigger and the hook will be released from the fish. If too much force is necessary in order to squeeze the trigger, try to turn the fish halfway and try again. After some practice this operation will be carried out without any difficulty.

The above instruction works for fish hooked in the lip but also when fish has swallowed the hook deep.
The use of the Fast Release Hook takes some practice but all users will certainly confirm that the Fast Release Hook is a great tool for dehooking fish which, in most cases, will release the fish unharmed.

Wash the FHR with fresh water after using and it will last for life.
